Hab darüber hier im Forum jetzt noch nichts gefunden, darum mach ich einfach mal n Thread darüber auf.
Sabian hat vor kurzem eine neue Beckenserie angekündigt, APX wird sie heißen und ist eher für Rock/Metal Drummer geschaffen worden.Hier ein kleiner Text kopiert von einer Webpage:

While these standard cymbals will come as 14" hats,16" crash, 20" ride or 14" hats, 18" crash, 22" ride sets, an Effects Pack will also be available, containing a 10" splash and an 18" Chinese.

Welche Becken hast du denn? Konnte jetzt nur rauslesen das du n 14" und 16" Medium Crash hast....Marke?

Nein sorry, hab ich keine Möglichkeit zu.
Aber auf indoorstorm.com gibts ein paar MB10 Soundfiles die jetzt gar nicht mal sooooo schlecht sind. Den persönlichen Test im Laden ersetzt das aber immer noch nicht

Ziemlich viele. Paiste 2002 fällt mir spontan ein, die sind schon ganz amtlich und machen auch den "typischen Crash-Groove-Sound" -
Naja du, das was du da bei Jason hörst ist auch nicht der reale Sound der Becken. Da ist mit Sicherheit am EQ gedreht worden

Habe selber ein MB10 Medium Crash in 17" und es ist mein Lieblingsbecken, glaube das werd ich immer behalten
Klänge beschreiben ist doof, aber mir gefällt der brilliante, schnell ansprechende Klang einfach. -

Ja, es müssten wirklich Soundcaster Customs sein. 2005 hat er die meines Wissens nach noch gespielt.
Beim Meinl Drum Festival 2006 hat Jason die Mb10 gespielt. Gibts bei Meinl auch Videos von. -
Bei justmusic haben die grad ein paar Amuns zum Aktionspreis.

Bin jetzt mal gespannt welches Becken das ist -
Die MB8 ersetzen die Amuns in der Produktpalette, scheinen aber für sich neue Cymbals zu sein.

Das ist auch vom Herrn Harrison persönlich, ich denke mit dme können sich nur wenige hier vergleichen....Ich mag daran nichts kritisieren weil 1.) ich es sowieso nicht besser könnte und nicht klugscheißen möchte
und 2.) das Stück nicht das simpelste ist und du es trotzdem gut gemeistert hast.

140-160 Euro würde ich spontan mal sagen.

Für Meinl Byzances sind die Hörbeispiele auf cymbalsonly.com nicht schlecht, jedenfalls besser als auf der Meinl-Page. Hier die 12" Mini Hat:

Video anschaut und die Beschreibung durchliest, weiß man dass der Kerl ganz schön am Sound rumgeschaubt hat:Zitat

I compressed the final mix to HELL.. to get a more aggressive sound, to make it sit better in with the original song (and hopefully overpower the original drums), detailed compression settings: 20:1 with a threshold of -20db and a compensation gain of 15db, with both seperate channels (LEFT and RIGHT, from the mixer) sent to a stereo sub-group, and the compression settings applied to THIS group, it gave a nice compact and aggressive result.. further mastering was needed to equalize the final mix and control peak levels and such.Nichts desto trotz muss ich sagen, das ich das Spiel vom dem Kerl ziemlich geil finde

So unterschiedlich kann man das sehen: Ich würde schon alleine wegen der Bühnenshow auf ein Rammstein-Konzert gehen, die Musik mal völlig außen vor gelassen.
