    Yes I got the information from Amazon about Tool und Oceansize,
    but for me Placebo is a lot closer. :P
    But at the end of the day, who gives a shit who they sound like, as long as it's good. :)

    Felle - Original, und ziemlich Scheiße.
    Fuma - Original, und OK.

  • 2 Felle nach etwa 3 Monaten gerissen - is das normal?

    die Werksfelle, Bass und Snare rissen nach etwa 3 Wochen auf meinem PDP, bei günstigen Drums sind die felle meistens Scheiße,
    Ich ersetzte all felle mit Remo Ambassador (bass drum Powerstroke 3),
    jetzt halten die genauso lange wie auf mein Drum Sound set.


    GET NEW SKINS, you wont have any more problems and they sound better as wall, and don't worry about your set up, it looks good, and your drums are NOT the problem, the skins are!!!

    Mit mein Laptop (IBM Thinkpad R40 mit RME Multiface)

    Ich Arbeite nur mit Netzteil, und kein Brummproblem.

    abgesehen davon die meisten Laptops haben ein extern Netzteil
    (wie bei ein gute Mischpult) und die kann man weit weg stellen
    von Kabeln und Audiokarte.


    entscheiden zuerst, welche Audiokarte und dann welcher Laptop,
    so kann man fragen welche Laptops mit diser Karte Problemlos läuft,
    so hab ich das auch gemacht und hab vom Brummen nie was gehört

    Es kommt auch auf das Audio-Interface an, und auf die richtige (restliche) Verkabelung an. Ist dieses für symmetrische Übertragung ausgelegt und du nutzt Mono(-Klinken) Kabel, dann kann das auch eine Ursache für's Brummen sein. Umbau auf symmetrische Kabel, und schon ist das Problem gelöst.


    Ich würde das Brummproblem erst angehen, wenn es auch tatsächlich da ist! Das ganze reden von vorneherein bringt da nicht so viel.

    I did understand, it's just that some times crappy sound cards are the problem,
    and not the power supply, that's why I asked.

    Sorry I can't be bothered to translate into German, hope you can understand.


    with this system (IBM Thinkpad R40 mit RME Multiface) I have just done a 9 track recording of drums with no problems,
    and I can record 16 tracks maximum if needed. the only thing I changed on my laptop was the hard drive (Festplatte) for
    a 7500 rpm.
    Decide what sound card you want and the see what users say, with RME there are a lot of laptop users that can help you out.
