  • Brian "Head" Welch und KoRn getrennt

    Also:


    Head hat Munky das Gitarre spielen beigeracht. Ein wirklich guter Gitarrist...will bloß immer keiner Wahr haben.


    Hab jetzt irgendwo gelesen, dass der eigentliche Grund von Head's Ausstieg der scheiß Sound war. Versteh ich persönlich nicht, da der Sound zumindest auf Platte und den Livemitschnitten die ich bis jetzt gesehn habe sehr fett war.


    Ich persönlich finds schade, dass Head genau jetzt anfängt (evtl. vorgibt), das fundamentalistische amerikanische Christentum zu pushen, auch wenn ich generell dem Christum nicht abgeneigt bin.

  • Welches Hihat?

    Hab ich auch gelesen, dass er ein 16er Tom gespielt hat...aber so wie ich das sehe erst später, weil das eindeutig nach 15" Tom aussieht (Live in Seattle '89).


    Robatil: Die Hämmerung aufm Mastersound schaut ja aber wieder anders aus.

    Es ist auf jedenfall ein Z! Dass weiß ich. Aber ein (heutiges) Dyno Beat wohl nicht, da ein Dyno Beat keine Dellen sondern 6(?)eckige Prägungen hat. Wenn man früher die Prägung wählen konnt, ist das natürlich ne Erklärung.


    Toms waren 12,13,14,15 und sehr tief. Deshalb die schräge Stellung.


    Schade, schade...hätte es gerne mal gespielt da es auf den Aufnahmen schon verdammt geil klang.

    DarkLightning: Das Schlazeug schwankt vom Tempo einfach relativ stark. Was den "Groove" wegnimmt. Ist aber kein Vorwurf...kanns ja selber net besser :)


    snoofrank: Also ich finde der Anfang klingt einfach "leer". Wie gesagt: vielleicht halt clean mit n paar Effekten z.B. Chorus, Reverb und Delay spielen. Oder auch ein Tomrhythmus...so Metallicamäßig.


    Solo war halt einfach so ne Idee von mir um die Bridge etwas interessanter zu machen. Also nachm 2ten Refrain ab 2:40min. Man bräuchte halt am besten 2 Gitarren.


    Ansonsten: hört nicht so viel auf mich, sondern macht weiter euer Ding :)

    Also grundsätzlich find ichs schon ziemlich beachtlich was ihr da auf die Beine gestellt hab.


    Was mir gefallen hat war z.B. das Gitarrenriff (stimmen wär trotzdem net schlecht). Leider ist der Anfang ein bisschen schwach. Der Gesang an sich passt auch ganz gut dazu.


    Aber es groovt halt nicht so wirklich. Hängt da stark am Schlagzeug. Außerdem ist nach einer Minute (oder so) musikalisch schon alles gesagt, klingt für mich irgendwie noch nicht ganz wie ein kompletter Song (wie wärs mit nem Gitarrensolo).


    Aber wie gesagt: Coole Idee mit kleinen Macken die man doch leicht aus der Welt schaffen kann.

  • DoFuMa VS. 2te BD

    Zu sagen


    "Lern' erstamal ordentlich Schlagzeug spielen bevor du dir ne DoFuma anschaffst"


    halte ich für falsch. Mein Lehrer lässt alle Schüler (auch die Einsteiger) alle Übungen(Wrist Strokes Übungen und Paradiddle) mit 8tel DB durchlaufen lassen. Dadurch sind beide Füße auf gleichem Niveau.


    Ich bin der Meinung man sollte sich wenn möglich schon früh mit der DB auseinandersetzen.

  • DoFuMa VS. 2te BD

    Ich kann dazu nur sagen, dass ich mich jetzt hinterher ärgere, keine 2te BD sonden ne DoFuma gekauft zu haben. Hab mir dummerweise ne DW6000 zugelegt, und da sind Spielgefühl und Klang der beiden Füße total unterschiedlich!


    Wenn man ne ordentliche DoFuma hat, dann sind diese Nachteile eher nebensächlich und es entscheidet die Optik :)

    Hab da grad was im Inet gefunden ;) wollte ich euch nicht vorenthalten:



    HEAVY METAL:

    from the dragon, saves the princess and they make love

    The protagonist arrives, fights the dragon, saves the
    princes and f**ks her....... easy and quick



    FOLK METAL:


    The protagonist arrives with some friends playing
    accordions, violins, flutes and many more weird
    instruments, the dragon falls asleep (from all the dancing)
    protagonist leaves without the princess



    VIKING METAL:


    The protagonist arrives in a ship, kills the dragon with his
    migthy axe, cooks and eats it, rapes the princess to death,
    steals the castle and burns the place before he leaves



    DEATH METAL:


    The protagonist arrives, kills the dragon, f**ks the princess
    and kills her, then leaves



    BLACK METAL:


    The protagonist arrives at midnight, kills the dragon and
    impales it in the front of the castle.....then sodomizes
    the princess, drinks her blood in a ritual before killing her....
    then he impales the deflowered princess



    DOOM METAL:


    The protagonist arrives, sees the size of the dragon
    and thinks that he never could beat him, gets depressed
    and commits suicide....the dragon eats his body and the
    princess as well



    PROGRESSIVE METAL:


    The protagonist arrives with a guitar and plays a solo
    for 26 minutes, the dragon kills himself out of boredom,
    the protagonist arrives to the princess' bedroom, plays
    another solo with all the techniques learned in the last
    year of the conservatory... the princess escapes, and is
    now looking for the "HEAVY METAL" protagonist



    GLAM METAL:


    The protagonist arrives, the dragon laughs at the guy's
    appearance and lets him enter, he steals the princess'
    make-up and tries to paint the castle in a beautiful pink
    color



    INDUSTRIAL METAL:


    The protagonist arrives wearing greasy overcoat, makes
    an obscene gestures towards dragon, and gets escorted
    out of fairy tale land by security guards.



    GORE METAL:


    The protagonist arrives, kills the dragon and spreads his guts in
    front of the castle, f***s the princess and kills her. Then he f***s
    the dead body again, slashes her belly and eats her guts. Then
    he f***s the carcass for the third time, burns the corpse and f***s
    it for the last time.



    NU METAL:


    The protagonist arrives in a run-down Honda Civic and attempts
    to fight the dragon but he burns to death when his moronic
    baggy clothes catch fire.

  • Behringer Eurodesk = Scheisse?!

    Welches (möglichst günstige max 200€) Mischpult könntet ihr für homerecording empfehlen? Ich müsste da einen Bass, ne Gitarre und ein Drumset aufnehmen können. Wenns proberaumtauglich wär, wäre natürlich vorteilhaft :)
