Hallo liebe Axis-Besitzer,
Right?
Edit again (Quelle wieder da): "The 'number 1 piece' (it looks like a backwards 1) is the main difference between A and X. The A has the variable drive lever on it to customize the feel of the pedal while the X is static and can not be adjusted. When I was visiting Axis a few days ago I spoke with the inventor, Darrell, about the differences. He mentioned the X achieves the most power during the down stroke at the moment of impact, when the beater hits the head. The A series with the variable drive lever has the 'sweet spot' just before the beater reaches the head, which is why he designed the Sonic Hammer beater.
For me, after spending about 4 years playing Axis pedals I have come to the conclusion that I prefer the X feel without the vari drive lever (go ahead and pelt me with rotten tomatos). The pedals feel like the Tama Camcos I grew up with but they have the precision that Axis offers with the fixed linkage and light weight construction."
