" Billy Gladstone and his drums," a clinic with Chet Falzerano,
world's leading expert on Billy Gladstone. Chet will discuss the
famous Billy Gladstone custom drums, Gladstone's prolific career,
including performances and his many inventions. See Gene Krupa's
personal snare drum, custom made for him by Billy Gladstone. Chet will
demonstrate the many features of the Gladstone drum including the 3-way
tuning system.

Falzerano has authored two Centerstream publications- Billy Gladstone
(a biography), and Gretsch Drums, The Legacy of "That Great Gretsch
Sound." Autographed copies will be available to purchase.

This is the ONLY clinic by Chet Falzerano in Germany!

Then at 19.30 see Gerald Stuetz perform My Fair Lady with the Krupa
Gladstone drum with the Mainz State Opera Orchestra. This will be a
fitting tribute, as Gladstone's final performance in the United States
was with the tour group of My Fair Lady in the late 1950's (
