Hand-hammering And Re-created Cymbals

while I think your drums sound too dark in this recording (subjectively)I must tell you the cymbals really speak to me. It seems even a second after you hit them they still tell a very musical exciting story. I´m impressed!

really nice work. In my opinion there are no better cymbals than those you craft. And I have to tell you: Day after day I love my cymbals (which you hammered, of course ) more and more!

I've got a question:
I found an old 22" ride Cymbal - B20.
It sounds quite nice but can I put on such a nice Finish like the MEINL Extra Dry???

Hi there,

I don't think so. The extry-dry-cymbals have their look from being totally untreated. After heating, rolling and hammering, the cymbal is "dirty". By lathing, the cymbals get their typical bronze-color. I don't think it is possible to reverse this procedure.
